Welcome to Gothenburg’s Youth Orchestra! We are a non-profit orchestral society with orchestras at two different levels: the smaller orchestra for children with just a few years of musical experience as well as the ability to read notes, and the larger youth symphony orchestra, for those with more musical experience, between approximately 12 and 18 years of age. We use auditions for starting both orchestras, for the smaller orchestra this is a simple music reading test.

Our conductors are music professionals with many years of experience of conducting and music. If you would like to join the orchestra, or just have more information about it, please do not hesitate to send an email to the conductors: dirigenter@guo.se. We rehearse on Saturday mornings at Hvitfeldtska Gymnasiet in Gothenburg, located centrally just north of the avenue.
